Group Planting a Tree

Trees fight climate change, improve air quality, control storm water runoff, reduce noise pollution, add beauty, and boost happiness.

OUR IMPACT

Since 1981, we have planted more than 60,000 street trees, almost half of San Francisco’s street tree canopy. We water 500 trees every week, plant and care for 300 trees every month, and replace 10,000sq ft. of concrete with soil every year.

OUR WORK

Planting Trees

Tree Planting

and Care

We increase the city's tree canopy by planting street trees in public spaces and caring for them for 3 years.

Sidewalk Gardens

We beautify neighborhoods by coordinating

community based sidewalk garden projects.

Stand-up Meeting

Workforce Development

We provide vocational training and mentorship to teens interested in a career in the environmental field.

OUR COMMITMENT

CHANGE our city’s landscape by replacing concrete with trees and plants, focusing on neighborhoods with the greatest need.

INSPIRE communities to participate in building an environmentally equitable future.

RAISE AWARENESS of San Francisco’s Tree Canopy, the science of Urban Forestry, and the impact of Government Policies.
