About the event
Welcome volunteers!Â
Join us to plant trees alongside community members. You will be led by experienced staff and volunteers as we break off into groups and plant new street trees. Light lunch and snacks will be provided and enjoyed as a thank you for helping us make San Fransico a greener place.Â
Schedule
- 8:45am: Arrival and Check-In
- 9:15am: Welcome and Safety Speech
- 9:30am: Break into Groups with Planting Leaders, Begin Working
- 12:30pm - 1:00 pm: Return Tools (end time is subject to change depending on the last tree in the ground)
- After Planting Your Group's Trees: Lunch & Goodbyes Together, we will help expand the tree canopy coverage to provide the benefits of trees to our neighbors!
