Size:

Height: 20-30'; Spread: 20'

Character:

Evergreen; oval form with weeping foliage; moderate canopy.

Foliage:

Green, smooth, narrow willow-like leaves, 3-6" long.

Flower:

Inconspicuous creamy white flowers in sparse clusters near branch tips.

Fruit:

Relatively inconspicious black seed.

Bark:

Smooth, gray bark.

Tree Care:

High. Early pruning to establish and maintain a central leader and to develop good branch structure. Pruning at maturity to reduce end weight.

Watering Needs:

Special Considerations:

Prefers sun, warmth, and good drainage. Does not tolerate strong winds, salt air, or heavy fog.

Native Range & Notable Traits:

Native to Australia. Neat, low maintenance street tree. Weeping form recalls willow without the problems of a true willow. Disease and pest resistant.
