Anyone! You don't have to a resident of San Francisco or a neighborhood to volunteer at any of our planting events.

You must email volunteers@fuf.net before attending. If we do not receive an email and a signed under-18 waiver in advance, the youth will not be allowed to attend or participate in activities. Here’s what to know: Ages 16–18: Require a signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian. Ages 12–15: A parent or legal guardian must be present at all times (1 adult per child—no group chaperones). Under 12: A parent or legal guardian must be present at all times; tool use and activity participation may be limited. Thanks for helping us keep our events safe, welcoming for all.
