Size:

Height: 25-40'; Spread: 15-20'

Character:

Evergreen; upright form; moderate canopy.

Foliage:

Medium-green, glossy, oval leaves, 2-'6" long.

Flower:

Yellow, very fragrant flowers, 1" long, in clusters 2-3" across, bloom May-September. 

Fruit:

Small woody capsule.

Bark:

Smooth, gray bark.

Tree Care:

Moderate. Early pruning needed to establish and maintain central leader, and to encourage good branch structure. Sidewalk clean-up during flower drop. 

Watering Needs:

Special Considerations:

Prefers sun and warmth, protection from wind, and good drainage. Irregular shape when young, eventually fills out. Flowers may drop.

Native Range & Notable Traits:

Native to Australia. Flower fragrance is pleasant and attracts birds and bees.
