Character:

Evergreen; round form; dense canopy.

Foliage:

Medium green, glossy, narrow leaves 4" long.

Flower:

Small yellow, fragrant flowers, 1/4" across, in profuse clusters, bloom April-June.

Fruit:

Insignificant brown see capsules can fall in wind.

Bark:

Mottled, beige, or reddish brown bark.

Tree Care:

Low. Early pruning needed to train a good shape; pruning needed less frequently with age.

May become leggy in full shade.

Native Range & Notable Traits:

Native to eastern Australia. Tough, low-maintenance tree. Attractive and muted yellow blooms in spring. Disease and pest resistant.
