[VIP] Mission Verde Documentary Screening and Panel Discussion

Friends of the Urban Forest presents a short documentary on the origin story of Mission Verde - a community group that took ownership to water new trees along 24th Street in the Latin Cultural District of San Francisco. Featuring an array of perspectives, from neighborhood residents to community organizers to city officials, this short documentary delves into the emotions, efforts, and partnerships involved in creating a unique solution to preserve and grow the natural ecosystem of this district. Following the screening of the 17-minute documentary, we'll have a panel discussion with 

• Carla Short - Interim Director of San Francisco Public Works
• Josh Klipp - Community Coordinator and volunteer with Mission Verde
• Kindra Scharich - Founder, Mission Verde

VIP tickets are for volunteers of Mission Verde and Public Works employees. 

The lobby opens at 5pm. The program starts at 6pm sharp! Tickets will be available at the door.

Drinks (beer, wine, soda, water) and light snacks will be available for purchase in the lobby. Drinks can be enjoyed inside the theater.
