About the event
Welcome volunteers! Join us in the Bayview District for a fun day volunteering outside with Friends of the Urban Forest. Our main tasks will be preparing soil by sifting out large rocks, amending the beds with compost, loosening compacted dirt, and mulching. This volunteer experience will help create ideal soil conditions for pollinator-friendly and drought-tolerant species to thrive!
Light snacks will be provided!
We require all volunteers to sign a release of liability waiver prior to volunteering.
