Mission | Community Tree Care

You'll learn how Friends of the Urban Forest staff cares for street trees through careful pruning, hardware maintenance, and health inspections. Then, practice your new skills on several young trees alongside a team of fellow volunteers. You'll travel on foot to each tree within a few blocks of the meeting location.

We will still meet and do work in light to moderate rain. Please come prepared with rain gear based on the forecast. If we foresee needing to cancel due to weather, you will receive a heads up on the day of the details message sent and a confirmation of the event being canceled the evening before.
